Frequently Asked

WEDDING
  1. What if my family is generally non-cooperative?
    • This is one of the best days of your life, if someone isn’t cooperating, I’ll do my best to handle it without you ever knowing that a concern popped up!
  2. We are awkward! Do you pose us?
    • I always feel awkward in front of a camera as well, so no worries, I get it!! I use a lot of prompts to help you feel more comfortable and look natural. I will also move/reposition you if needed to make sure we capture you looking your best!
  3. How far in advance should we book?
    • Depending on the length of your engagement, most couples book me 6-8 months in advance, though some book over a year before their wedding date. I do limit the number of weddings that I photograph each year in order to maintain the high quality images and service that I provide so I recommend contacting me as soon as possible to secure your wedding date.
  4. How are your sessions priced?
    • Wedding Day coverage starts at $2500
  5. How long does a session last?
    • Our base package includes up to 6 hours of coverage. Additional time is included in other packages or can be added on.
  6. What if I lose my images? Do you keep a copy?
    • It is your responsibility to archive and make copies of the images delivered to you. That being said, I do have backups of my backups so if your images do get lost, I will most likely be able to resend them to you for a small fee to cover my time searching through old hard drives and re-uploading your gallery.
  7. Are you legal and insured?
    • Yes, of course! Nichole Coyle Photography is licensed and registered through the state of Ohio. Any proof of licensure or insurance can be provided upon request.
  8. What is your re-scheduling policy?
    • In the event that you reschedule your wedding and I am able to rebook the original wedding date, you will receive credit for all monies already paid. A new contract may be required though for you new date. The new package price will reflect pricing in effect when the date change occurs. In the event that you reschedule your wedding and I am not able to rebook the original wedding date, you forfeit the retainer but will receive a credit for all other monies paid. Credit may be applied to wedding coverage within one year of original date provided I am available.
  9. Do you offer printing services?
    • I do! Through your custom gallery you will have the option to purchase the highest quality prints through one of the leading professional printers in the US
  10. Do you travel?
    • Yes! Travel dates are limited though because I have a family I like to see from time to time, but don’t hesitate to ask about availability. Travel fees will apply outside of the Greater Cleveland and Akron areas.
  11. Do you offer payment plans?
    • Yes! I understand that weddings come with a lot of expenses to various vendors so we do our best to accommodate that. There is an initial $500 non-refundable retainer due to secure your wedding date. The remainder of your payment may be made in installments or in a lump sum up to 30 days before your wedding date.
LIFESTYLE
  1. What is Lifestyle Photography?
    • Lifestyle Photography aims to capture you in your everyday, real-life events, or milestones in an artistic manner. Basically, I enjoy telling your story through photographs. What I enjoy most about our sessions is capturing YOU. Whether that’s your family, your child getting ready to graduate, you and your significant other, or even a special event, I want you to be comfortable and look amazing in your photos! My greatest joy in photography is to capture the nostalgia and authenticity of a moment and give that to you to keep forever. Our lifestyle photography services include Newborn, Children + Families, Senior Portraits, Couples, and Proposals.
  2. What if my children don’t listen, or the baby is fussy? What if my family is generally non-cooperative?
    • Fellow parent here with a toddler who sometimes acts like, well, a toddler. There is no need to worry if your child is shy or just not feeling it right away. I have been called a child-whisperer and have a few tricks up my sleeve to help them feel comfortable and excited to take pictures! I do send out a questionnaire before our session to help me get to know your family a bit better and if your child has personality traits or special needs, that would be a helpful point to let me know. If you have a fussy newborn, again, no worries! The best thing about a lifestyle session is that I am capturing you and your family in real-life. So feel free to cuddle, sing, feed, whatever your baby needs! I’ll be there to capture those precious moments as you soothe and love on your sweet babe.
  3. What will our session experience be like? I’ve never done this before.
    • I love to capture moments with your family that are unique and personal to you. Some things to consider: Does your family enjoy the outdoors? We can go for a hike at a nearby park! Is there a special season you want to capture with your family like Fall in a pumpkin patch or Christmas at a tree farm? Did you meet your partner or have your first date somewhere that we could revisit? Does your family enjoy going to Farmer’s Markets together? Let’s get together in a place that’s meaningful to you and capture lasting memories!

  5. How far in advance should we book?
    • At least 1-2 months in advance is preferred, however, if you have a last minute situation, I will do my best to accommodate.
  6. When is the best time to schedule maternity photos?
    • I recommend scheduling maternity sessions between the end of your 7th month and the beginning of your 8th. You don’t want to wait too long and look and feel uncomfortable or deliver early and miss your session altogether!
  7. When is the best time to schedule a newborn session?
    • As a mother myself, I remember coming home from the hospital in a daze. The lack of sleep and sudden major life change were intense. But, so was the love we had for our precious baby girl that was finally here! So, even though you will most likely be sleep deprived and have spit up on your robe, I recommend scheduling your session within the first week of your precious newborn’s arrival. Babies change so much, so quickly, we want to capture those first few days so you can have them forever! And I promise to capture all the love and snuggles while hiding the giant pile of laundry in the corner!
  8. What should we wear?
    • Do you remember back in the 90s when everyone wore blue jeans and white shirts? Please don’t do that. Instead, try to wear outfits that compliment each other. For instance, have everyone in soft, earthy tones or rich, jewel tones. Layers, subtle patterns, and accessories are great, but try to avoid loud patterns and clothing with large logos/text. Please don’t hesitate to send me pictures of outfits you are considering, I’m happy to help!
  9. How are your sessions priced?
    • Session pricing starts at $350. 
  10. How long does a session last?
    • Typical lifestyle sessions last up to an hour, though I do offer options for more coverage if needed for adventure sessions, births, and such.
  11. How long does it take to receive our completed package?
    • On average it takes 2-4 weeks before you receive your final gallery. I do my best to deliver your images as soon as possible, because I know you are so excited to see them! During my busy season it may take closer to 4 weeks to receive your full gallery, but in those circumstances I always try to send you a sneak peek in the meantime!
  12. What if I lose my images? Do you keep a copy?

    • Do you want to know the best thing about a lifestyle session? It’s a session meant to capture your lifestyle! So, there’s no need to hire a cleaning lady, painter, etc to prepare your home. While it’s preferred that your home is somewhat clean and tidied up, when you have kids, it’s expected that there will be toys and books strewn about so don’t stress too much!
  16. Do you choose our location, or do we?
    • Before your session I will work with you to choose the perfect location. I have a laundry list of beautiful outdoor locations to consider, though I also enjoy choosing a location that is meaningful to you and your family, whether in your home or at a location that is holds a special place in your hearts!
  17. Do you offer printing services?
    • I do! Through your custom gallery you will have the option to purchase the highest quality prints through one of the leading professional printers in the US

    • Depending on the intricacy and details of the session I prefer at least a week’s notice, though some sessions may take more planning and need 1-3 months in order to create the best possible content.

    • Because branding sessions are so versatile, I will create a custom quote for you based on your needs. Some of the options we offer are headshots, flat lays, lifestyle branding, collaborations, and more
  3. How long does a session last?
    • because branding sessions can have a range vastly in their complexity and time commitment I will create a custom quote for you based on your needs.
  4. What if I lose my images? Do you keep a copy?
